We process personal data, which are collected when visiting our websites, in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. Your data will neither be published by us nor passed on to third parties without authorization. Below we explain what data we collect during your visit to our websites and how they are used:
When visiting our web page, our web server temporarily stores every access in a log file. The following data are collected and stored until automated deletion:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the retrieved data
- Transmitted amount of data
- Message if the retrieval was successful
- Detection data of the browser and operating system used
- Website from which access is made
- Name of your Internet access provider
The processing of these data is for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (connection establishment), the system security, the technical administration of the network infrastructure and to optimize the Internet site. The IP address is only evaluated in case of attacks on the network infrastructure of ICEBLANKS.
In addition to the above cases, personal data will not be processed unless you expressly consent to further processing. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created acc. to the comments about the web analysis (see below).
If you order information material or other goods using our web page, we use the specified address data only for the purpose of processing the order.
Any use of your personal data takes place only for the stated purposes and to the extent necessary to achieve these purposes. A passing on to third parties does not take place. Personal data transfers to government or other agencies will only be executed within the bounds of mandatory national law or where disclosure is required in law or law enforcement in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure. A transfer for other purposes does not take place.
The use of certain offers on our website, such as newsletters or forums, may require prior registration and further processing of personal data, such as longer term storage of e-mail addresses, user IDs and passwords. The use of such data takes place only if you have forwarded to us and expressly consented to the use in advance. In the following cases for example, we ask you in a separate place for your permission:
In order to register for a newsletter service of ICEBLANKS, we need at least your e-mail address to which the newsletter is to be sent. Further information is voluntary and will only be used on the basis of your consent, for example, in order to address you personally and to be able to clarify questions about the e-mail address. For postal delivery we need your mail address data. In the case of press distributors, information about the press organization that you are working for is necessary so that we know that a press organ is actually being supplied.
In general, we use the double opt-in procedure for registration. This means that we will not send you any newsletters until you have confirmed your registration after receiving your e-mail address via an e-mail sent by us and a link contained therein. The login and confirmation will be logged. This is to ensure that only you can register by yourself as a user of the specified e-mail address in the newsletter service. Your confirmation must be sent promptly to us for sending the e-mail, otherwise your registration and e-mail address in our database will be deleted. Until confirmed by you, our newsletter service does not accept further registrations at this e-mail address.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. You can either send us an e-mail or cancel it with a link at the bottom of the newsletter.
In order to register for an ICEBLANKS Internet forum, we need at least an user ID, a password and your e-mail address. For your protection, registration for such a service can only take place if you subscribe to a newsletter service if you confirm your registration via an e-mail sent by us and the link contained therein and if you confirm the use of other personal data so far necessary for the use of the forum.
You can cancel these services at any time by sending us an e-mail via the corresponding website of the service.
Guest books and forums are in principle not subject to any content control by ICEBLANKS. Nevertheless, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to delete entries and to exclude users from further use, in particular if entries fulfill criminally relevant facts or are incompatible with the goals of ICEBLANKS.
Of course, you can also view our websites without cookies, but most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting this option in your browser settings. Failure to accept cookies may restrict the functionality of our offers.
Personal user profiles are not created. However, § 15 para. 3 Telemedia Act (TMG) allows the use of user profiles under a pseudonym for purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based design of offers, unless the user objects:
We also use web analytics services provided by Google Analytics on our websites, which perform the web analysis for us as a processor (see the website www.google.com/analytics/). The offers have been checked by supervisory authorities or experts and meet all the requirements of German and European data protection law.
The data collected by the tracking technologies will not be used to personally identify you without your specific consent. The collected data will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. A cross-site analysis is also not done.
Some of our websites also use social plugins, for example those of the social networks Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or Google+. These are often technically operated in the USA or other countries outside Germany and the EU, and are sometimes offered via national companies in the EU (see the Websites www.facebook.de, www.twitter.de, www.youtube.de oder www.google.de). The plug-ins are, for example, marked with the company logo, comment fields or a so-called "Like" or "+1" button.
If you open a page of our website in your web browser that contains such a plug-in, your web browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective provider in the respective country.
By integrating the plug-ins, the provider receives at least the information that you have visited a certain page of our website, possibly also other information that your web browser or your used device reveal. The content of the plug-in is downloaded from your web browser directly from the provider and integrated into our website. If you are registered and logged in to the relevant provider, your visit can also be assigned to your user account.
If you interact with a plug-in, for example, click the "Like" button or leave a comment in a form field, this information will also be transmitted directly from your browser to the provider where it will be stored, used and published as appropriate.
If you do not want a provider to collect information about you from our web pages, you must disable plug-ins in your web browser. If you want to avoid linking to a possibly existing user account, you must log out before visiting our web pages. By visiting our web pages, you agree to the above terms.
ICEBLANKS uses technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
You have the right of access to the personal data stored about you and also the right to correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion.
If you are registered as a user of individual ICEBLANKS services, we may also offer you the option of viewing the data yourself via a user account and possibly deleting or modifying it.
If you wish to receive information about your personal data or to correct or delete it, or if you have further questions about the use of your personal data provided to us, please contact us:
